A few weeks ago was the start of me having an accountability partner. It’s really changed my work, but also has changed myself to a degree. After each week has passed, I’ve been raising the bar for myself and my work. And this week I’ve written down something interesting with respect to my writing. I wrote down a specific word count of how much more I want to write each and every day.
I Don’t Mean To Brag…
But I write a fair bit. Everything I write, I publish. Over the course of the day I publish almost, if not more than 1000 words.
But the thing is… I’m not satisfied with that.
I know that I can write even more than that. Not to mention that I do want to be writing more.
I want to be instilling a reminder in myself.
I am a Writer First, A Publisher Second
This is an important thing to be keeping in mind.
A writer writes, a publisher publishes.
And to have my writing, some of my writing, secret, would be nice.
Even though I take pride in showing my work, knowing no one has to see a mere 300 words won’t hurt them.
True that will be built up over time, but I believe writing will help me to relax, concentrate and will help me in the path ahead.
To Me, Writing Is Therapy…
After all what I write about on a daily basis stems from things in the past or events that happened recently. I’m already providing a good perspective of my life as well as how I write.
So writing more and knowing others won’t be seeing it will put me at a more sense of ease. And who knows some of my thoughts might manifest in other articles or in quotes that I share on social media.
I Want To Write More
Because of these things and also to push myself to newer heights and new potentials. To grow myself, one must push higher and reach out.
I love writing so much I know that I can achieve this goal, but I am more excited about what will happen from this!
