Ever walked along the hot beach after forgetting your sandals? Introducing the most interesting product you will see on the internet today… Nakefit Adhesive Shoe Soles. Made by an Italian company, these soles are specially designed so you don’t need to wear shoes or sandals while on holiday.
What is Nakefit?
In a nutshell, Nakefit is an adhesive show sole that you can stick onto your foot for extra grip.
The creators have said that their soles are “waterproof, cut-proof, heat-resistant, and slip-proof”. They may look a bit odd and unorthodox they are could actually be rather functional. They are designed to withstand rough terrain, are waterproof and would allow a degree of freedom that sandals don’t offer. They could also be used in pools to help protect against verrucas and other foot infections.
The company has put the soles on Kickstart and have reached over 200% of their funding goal. The soles are yet to be distributed but you can pre-order 10 pairs on their crowdfunding site for around £26.
They are instantly reminiscent of the Vibram ‘toe shoes’ that are available online and in most sports stores.
As it says on their website, “We invented Nakefit to keep your feet effectively protected and at the same time support all of the amazing things it can already do. Nakefit is designed in Italy and is produced without harming people, animals or the environment (vegan and barefoot friendly).”
Would you wear Nakefit sholes?
That is the big question. Would you actually wear the Nakefit soles? Or are they a bit too extreme for you? Let us know in the comment box below.
