Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth have made real names for themselves in the entertainment industry. Indeed, just look at how much success Chris Hemsworth has had in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the character of Thor. Still, we must not forget that Chris and Liam have an older brother who is doing great things in Westworld.
Indeed, Luke Hemsworth has a supporting role in the hugely successful HBO television show that has just begun its second season. In an interview with Collider at a press day for the launch of Season 2 of Westworld, Luke Hemsworth talked about the secrecy surrounding this second season:
“They’re pretty consistent with drip feeding you the information and telling you nothing. They told us nothing this season. That’s part of the surrender. You know that they’re doing things on purpose, and you can ask Jonah [Nolan] and Lisa [Joy] questions, all day long, but they’ll skirt around and change the subject. By the end, Jonah was just like, ‘Okay, that’s your one question,’ and then would walk off. You’d be like, ‘Hey, what about . . .,’ and he’d be like, ‘Nope, see you tomorrow!’”
Luke Hemsworth also gabe some comments about whether he will have a future in the MCU after his brief cameo in Thor: Ragnarok:
“We’ve been talking to (Thor: Ragnarok director) Taika [Waititi]. I’m like, ‘I’m pretty sure that there’s a scene where me and actor Loki are in a pub, in another world.’ We can be thrown in somewhere and end up saving the world. That was so much fun! That was one of the best days around. That was awesome! Except that I was dripping with sweat, and my sweat was dripping into Matt Damon’s eyes. It was like 110 degrees in Atlanta and Taika was feeding us lines while I was dripping sweat on Matt and my beard was flopping off. They come and stick glue on you while you’re real sweaty, and then they paint more glue on you. He was great. What a lovely guy!”
