Apple iPhones are still a popular choice when it comes to buying a smartphone, and according to MacWorld’s financial results, Apple has sold 41.026 Million iPhones. Even with companies like Samsung that are producing their smartphones with exceptional cameras, the iPhone is still a Go-Getter for Millennials.
As mentioned, the Samsung phones—like their Galaxy S7 and S8 are equipped with phenomenal cameras. This is where Apple iPhones may need a little help. For this reason, I’ve been on the search for the perfect companion for iPhones and may have just found it. The fast growing world of technology is making life a bit more simple for us to use, and photographers—Pro or Amateur can enjoy taking quality photographs without a hauling a heavy camera around.
Here are my top 3 favorite:
- The Aukey Lenses- A Variety of different optical lenses for iphones (but can mount to other smartphones as well)
- The Lenzii Lenses- Universal 3-in-1 lenses: Fish Eye, Wide Angle, and Macro Lens
- The Olloclip Lenses- Specifically for iPhones
The Aukey is a fabulous choice and it offers a variety of lenses to choose from. All lenses come in a protective case with a cleaning cloth, and can be carried in your purse, backpack, or clipped on any travel bag with the included carabiner clip. One can easily order the Aukey lenses from Amazon, which is perfect for Prime users to avoid shipping costs—these lenses are affordable and all range under $50, depending on the lens type that fits your needs.
What I like about Lenzii, is that these lenses are universal—small in size, but will fit on any smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Because you can easily clip the lens on and off, it will fit on most phones that have a case on them. This 3-in-1 lens also comes in a protective case with a cleaning cloth and a carabiner clip that makes it practical to carry when on-the-go. To switch from the Wide Angle lens to the Macro lens, you just simply twist the top lens on and off.
I love my Canon, but when I don’t have it handy or don’t want to be carrying my Canon around, I will use my Galaxy S7. What I like about the Aukey lenses is that they’re the perfect size to have in my bag and I can easily mount them on my phone. The quality of the photos that the Aukey delivers is phenomenal! —Yvette of Lushqn1Travels
