Before her latest single ‘Like A Child’, I was unaware that Sarah Tèibo is a serious contender in the UK gospel music circuit– a big slap on the wrist for me!

Born in London, Sarah’s route to sensation started in Nigeria – where she spent her early childhood.  She started singing in choirs from the age of ten and often rummaged through her parents’ record collection. With her growing interest in music, her loved ones and friends knew she had something special.

Fast forward to the present day, Sarah made her music debut with single ‘Steal My Joy’ in late 2015, which peaked at number two on the StepFWD Christian gospel charts plus two nominations as Newcomer by Premier Gospel Awards and GXMM Awards the following year. Following the release of her first album, ‘Walk With Me’ in 2016, she was hailed the one to watch, scooping a MOBO nomination along the way.

With a chart-topping single and three nominations under her belt, Sarah unveiled her latest single, ‘Like A Child’ last month, enlisting producer Luke (GKID) Grant to co-pen the four -minute production. Grant also who produced Britain’s Got Talent 2015 semi-finalist Sakyi Four’s R&B/Afrobeat offering, ‘Simmer Down’.

Taken from her forthcoming album ‘Keep Walking’ – set for release this summer – ‘Like A Child’ encourages each and every one of us to fully embrace the inner child and leave your cares and woes to the big man above. Sporting a real smooth urban R&B vibe – reminiscent of modern Motown – ‘Like A Child’ is enhanced by the spine-tingling harmonies from UK’s promising singers, Tehillah Daniel and this year’s The Voice UK contestant, Jason Nicholson-Porter.

With a melting pot of real promising talent, it is safe to assume that her latest effort will appeal across the board and could mark another milestone in Sarah’s ever expanding and impressive CV.

‘Like A Child’ is now available on all digital platforms, including iTunesSpotify and Amazon.
