Dr. Lissa Rankin, M.D. is educated… brilliant and understandable … and she is open-hearted enough to provide her own personal Protocol as a guiding example… so that: “by the time you finish “Mind Over Medicine ~ Scientific Proof You Can Heal Yourself” you will have made your own Diagnosis, written your own Prescription, and created a clear Action Plan designed to help you make your body ripe for (more) miracles,” in liaison with your own health professional as needed, if needed. This is an incredible tool … quite possibly a game changer, a life changer… from a medical doctor who once felt she wasn’t truly living up to the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm to her patients, so she looked within her own experience, at the “placebo effect,” the case for genetics as the only healing factor, as well as volumes of the scientific studies and histories of those who “spontaneously” recovered from disease, including those considered incurable, to write this book.
Dr. Lissa not only gives well-documented evidence, but in the last section of her book, “Mind Over Medicine” — entitled “Write the Prescription [for yourself]” — includes sub-sections entitled: Radical Self-Care and 6 Steps to Healing Yourself to be done after full understanding of the earlier sections of the book. I gave a copy of this book to my cardiologist in NYC, one of that rare breed of M.D.s who cares about his patients and doesn’t rush them out of his office and who does not automatically pull out a clipboard to write a pharma prescription, perhaps because he was trained in “the old country,” and he received it favorably.
Anita Moorjani, who had a miracle recovery from advanced cancer, says: “WOW! Just wow! That is how I feel about Lissa Rankin’s work. Everything she says rings so true to me and her voice as a professional medical doctor is just what is needed in today’s drug dependent society. Bravo, Lissa for having the courage to speak out and share your truth.” Dr. Bernie Siegel recommends her book, saying that: “Mind Over Medicine” modernizes age old messages of wisdom and makes them easier to understand and apply to modern day lifestyles … in easy to apply lessons we can all learn from.”
For the reader’s information, I have no connection with Dr. Rankin. My connections are with family… those I’ve been and am close to whose bodies have manifested autoimmune dis-ease and other maladies considered incurable by any means… and it is they who have inspired my research on health and wellbeing and my blog.
