With more people than ever having to eat food that is gluten-free, dairy-free or refined sugar-free it can be increasingly difficult to find food festivals that cater to them. Enter the Free From Festival, touted as the UK’s 1st first gluten, dairy and refined sugar-free food festival.

What is it?

In their own words, ‘Come and join us to sample healthy ‘free from’ products made in the UK and a lot produced by local businesses of Hackney & Islington and Tower Hamlets. Expect and indulge in refined sugar-free chocolate tasting, gluten-free desserts & savoury snacks. Gluten-free beer, organic wine and refined sugar-free beverages will also be available for purchase at the venues bar. Join our talented Chefs and Speakers at the live cooking demonstrations to learn some great tips on how to cook healthy tasty food without using gluten, refined sugar etc.’

This looks like it will be the perfect opportunity to stock up on some ‘Free From’ products to enjoy over the Christmas period. Whether you are intolerant to gluten or dairy or are just looking to cut them from your diet, you will find many delicious alternatives here. Those attending can also expect live music and an entertaining atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. Be sure to bring cash with you as the majority of places selling ‘Free From’ products will be cash only.
