Kick off the Christmas season with a fun evening in a grade ll listed former swimming baths—A Christmas themed pop-up cinema will be set up inside Victoria Baths for two festive film screenings.
What is it?
Home Alone on Friday December 9, followed by Elf on Saturday December 10 will be the film options.
Audiences will be seated on vintage deckchairs inside the old pool and the mezzanine level above it to watch the films on a 16ft screen. It can get chilly so be sure to bring along blankets and/or hot water bottles.
DJ sets will kick off the events and street food will be available throughout each viewing-and a bar serving prosecco, wine and craft beer will also be open throughout each showing.
Where is the pop-up cinema?
The Christmas pop-up cinema will be hosted at Victoria Baths – Hathersage Road, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester M13 0FE.
Tickets & Timings
Doors open for each event at 6.30pm with the films starting at 8pm.
Pool level tickets are priced at £14.50 for adults (over 16) and £11.50 for children (ages 12 and up only) and students. Mezzanine level tickets cost £13.50 or £10.50.
