Bill Nye, colloquially known as ‘The Science Guy’ ever since his TV show of the same name, has made a resurgence in recent years. He has published 2 books in 2015, engaged in public debates and made appearances on TV shows such as the Big Bang Theory and Dancing With The Stars. This is in no small part to his fan base growing up and acquiring spending power with a thirst for 90’s nostalgia. Now, Netflix has commissioned a new series to be hosted by Nye.

Check out the official synopsis, originally reported by IndieWire, below:

Each episode will tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry.

Some of the first topics that he intends to cover include climate change and GMOs.

No specific release date yet but its slated for some time in 2017. When a trailer is released, you will find it here. In the mean-time, 90’s kids will have to hold their breath in eager anticipation
