Beauty and Make-up Hacks – The Beauty Blender Dupe That’s Just $6

The following two tabs change content below.
Hi! My name is Grace. I am a 23-year-old southern girl from Georgia with a love for all things beauty, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle. I created my blog (www.AuroraGraceCo.com) as an outlet to express my creativity (a girl can only sit in a cubicle for so many hours without going crazy) and create a community of like-minded gals (& dudes) to share, express, discuss, and inspire. Grab some Starbucks and stick around for a while. I hope you enjoy!

Who would’ve guessed that a tiny, pink, egg-shaped, sponge would end up being one of the most essential tools in flawless makeup application. As much as I adore the Beauty Blender, every time I walk into Sephora to repurchase it, I die a little bit on the inside. I mean who in their right mind charges $20 for a sponge?! (Not like I don’t end up selling my soul to purchase endless amounts of goodies at Sephora anyway, but that’s beside the point).

Some of you may be familiar with the brand Real Techniques. I’m obsessed. I use their makeup brushes almost every day. And when I’m not using a brush to apply my makeup, I’m using this bad boy.

I buy this little beauty at Ulta for $6 andddd it’s glorious. Plus it saves me $13, so I’m all in. (by the way, the link above is from Amazon where you can snag a 2 pack for under $9… you’re welcome). Get this guy damp and watch your makeup blend like a dream.

And if my opinion isn’t enough, Huda Kattan from Huda Beauty raved about the sponge in a recent blog post on her site. The beauty blogger explains in her post that her favorite part of this sponge is the flat edge of the tool that makes it perfect for contour and baking.

Ya’ll, check it out. It’s bomb. *mic drop*
