I’ve have always had pains and stiff muscles here and there all around my body. This is due to the fact that I put my body through hours of very intense physical exercises week in week out as well as playing semi pro American football. I didn’t know much about yoga stretches before. I usually just do the normal body stretches before and after a workout to relieve the stiffness and pains in my back, hamstrings and glutes. The basic stretches helped relieve the stiffness but didn’t really help my posture and the pains and aches were still very much at large. This was until I was introduced to a simple yoga stretch that basically saved my body from constant aches & stiffness of the muscles. All you need is 15 minutes, a yoga mat and a quiet space. You can do more than 15 minutes if you have the time for it, but as I’m always on the move, 15 minutes a day is just perfect for me. I’ve been doing yoga stretches for a minimum of 15 minutes every morning before I start my day and, best believe this, my posture is so much better than ever before. As well as this, my back and hamstrings don’t hurt anymore and I enjoy training more than ever.
