So now E3’s over, was everyone happy with what they saw for the upcoming future?
I know I was and here are my top 5 picks of E3 this year.
Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red: PC, PS4, Xbox One)
When I saw this game previewed I was excited to see something different from the guys that made The Witcher series, it looks fun and colourful from what was seen but in eyesight, you can see this game is going to be full of nudity, violence, swearing and drugs which is my kind of game!
Creating a city hooked on crime, corruption, corporate violence and poverty and It is a first-person game with a gun in your hand what more do you want than that.
Looking forward to this shame there is no release date as of yet.
Dying Light 2 (Techland; PC, PS4, Xbox One)
I was a big fan of the first release so much so I’ve played it twice through with friends and now they’re making another one which is great the trailer looked really good as well from that the environment has changed and improved but also I like the idea of completing quests in different ways changes the outcome of your story and also the environment that is around you.
Maybe Techland throwing this game out will push Dead Island 2 to be finished?
Errr maybe not.
The Last of Us Part 2 (Sony; PS4)
This was the most anticipated trailer at E3 and most probably the most spoken game at E3 everyone has been waiting for this and even got its first gameplay trailer showing us both Ellie’s relationship with another survivor, Dina, and a gameplay in which she slaughters a gang of hostile survivors.
I for one am excited for this game and with it being Naughty Dog making this game I’m hoping for a Crash Bandicoot reference in it.
No? Sure? Okay moving on.
Resident Evil 2 Remake (Capcom; PC, PS4, XBOX)
I know it’s a remake but I’ve been waiting for this for so long! I’ve played every resident evil remake they’ve done this far and even had them on GameCube back in the heyday and was waiting for them to release this one for years now they’ve finally listened to the fans and gone with it.
Following rookie cop Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they seek refuge from a zombie outbreak in the abandoned Raccoon City police HQ. Also, the best thing about this is that the camera control is completely different from the original and looks so much better!
I Will be preordering this one.
Release: 25 January 2019
Fallout 76 (Bethesda; PC, PS4, Xbox One)
And you guessed it Fallout 76, you should have known this would have been on my list. I love the fallout games and have loved them since playing Fallout 3 onwards and I’m looking forward to this game even if it is going to be online I will play and conquer this game like I try to with every fallout game.
Fallout 76 is a prequel to all the other games and it’s the biggest one yet, it is four times the size than Fallout 4. Set in the hills of West Virginia you are one of the first to emerge into an untamed and very different wasteland
And from hearing that I preordered the game!
Release: 14 November 2018
