Having a healthy lifestyle has become in recent years a well-known phrase. Everyone wants to achieve it, but do we really know what does this mean? Having a healthy lifestyle has a lot of benefits to your physical and mental health. It also decreases the likelihood that diabetes or obesity may occur.
But, what does it mean? If you have a healthy lifestyle, it means that you are in a good shape and that you often engage in a physical activity. Also, your meals are nutritious and you have a healthy schedule of sleep.

If you want to get up early, you have to go to sleep earlier. This allows you to improve the quality of your sleep because there is an hourly interval in which you rest better. Between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m., it is said that you get the most restful sleep.
And, of course, if you sleep 8 hours a night, you will be able to wake up early and start the day.

Most of the morning people are more productive in the first part of the day. There are no distractions, no noises or colleagues that might distract you from your work.
Especially if you have a thesis assignment, you should wake up earlier than you usually do. Working on it with a fresh and rested mind will bring you lots of benefits and time. Because you will finish it faster than before.

A study has found that morning college students have higher grades. Why so? Because waking up early gives you enough time to have breakfast and prepare for the day ahead. You will not be in a rush to get to classes and everything will be chill.
Also, you start studying earlier, when the brain is more active and will be easier for you to retain the information.

If you go to sleep late, it means that you had a lot to do. All your activities are postponed by your choice to wake up later. You wake up later, you are in a rush to arrive on time to your meetings, spend more time at the office.
After that, you must go shopping, realize that you are too tired to cook for yourself and decide to buy some fast food. You go home, finish your work and you realize that you are in the middle of the night.
Waking up early helps you improve your organizational skills. Although you go to sleep earlier, in the morning you have more energy to get things done and to organize your schedule better.

Everyone wants to be happy, but not all of us know that happiness can be found in the small things in our life. Being an early bird is one of them.
